Helmut Don has visited the lodge every year for the past 15 years. On his first day at the houseboat in 2005 Don got a 32 pound King Salmon on in just 5 minutes ! After getting on a sandbank of the Nushagak river close to the houseboat. Fishing with his flyrod, the fish emptied almost all the line on the reel and after 25 minutes of hard fighting and a few jumps, were the fish showed us his big silver colored side, Ronny helped out by getting the fish in the boat as fast as he could with the net, so as to not lose this GREAT FISH! * REFER the Picture Gallery for photo "IN JUST 5 MINUTES"
Best fishing Trip I have ever had
