Diamond Lodge Enterprises includes the Diamond Lodge, Angler's Dream Lodge and Diamond Lodge Fish Processing and Commercial Smoked Fish Products.  The smoke house produces Sockeye hot-smoked, cold-smoked European-style lox and cold-smoked Halibut.  The processing plant sells frozen Salmon and Halibut fillets and it custom fillets and vacuum packs fish caught by guests of the lodges.  (That is to say, as a guest, you may have your limit vacuum packed and frozen, free of charge!)

ImageHeidi and Lorren are the proud owners of Diamond Lodge Enterprises.  Heidi was born in Frankfort, Germany.  She spent her childhood in the farming countryside, 40 miles west of the city, near Rhonenberg.  As a working adult, she journeyed to Italy where she was involved in the hotel business.  Her interest gravitated toward the culinary arts.  The next 6 years saw Heidi becoming an accomplished chef and well acquainted to the lodging business.  In the 1980, she took a position in Alaska managing the Cotton Wood Lodge in the Susitna drainage.  In 1986, Heidi moved to King Salmon, Alaska, purchasing a facility, introducing the Diamond Lodge.  For three decades spent fishing, client satisfaction and fish processing has been a way of life.  The anglers, over the years, have done their part by catching many fish.  In response, Heidi learned to process the fish.  She incorporated the knowledge of her beloved grandfather, by means of a family recipe dating back centuries, a childhood memory, to produce European-style lox and Salmon products.  The result of this evolution is top end, award-winning Salmon and Halibut delicacies, fully governmentally accredited, by FDA, DEC, et al.  Diamond Lodge takes pride in producing the best.

Lorren was born in Colorado.  He spent his formative years in a distant logging camp in Oregon.  As an adult, he attended college, served in the military and ultimately, graduated from medical school in Chicago.  He did his post-graduate work in St. Louis, Mo., and followed that with 12 years of emergency, critical care and internal medicine.  In 1990, Lorren became the medical director for a local clinic and emergency facility, a position that he still holds.

Lorren and Heidi fell in love 2004 and married.  They have a continued commitment to providing the best sport-fishing experience possible.  They have a passion for Alaska and the Bristol Bay experience and wish to share it with you.  Heidi is a hoot and Lorren is analytical.
